Volunteer and Get Involved!

The Lake Washington Saddle Club is run by volunteers and we need everyone to pitch in to keep things running smoothly. Everyone, especially our show managers, can always use an extra hand.  Volunteering is a great way to meet people and learn more about the Club.

Note: To be eligible for LWSC annual awards, members must volunteer for at least 8 hours in club activities.

Hunter/Jumper Show Jobs - The Hunter/Jumper Fun Shows  need volunteers for office, jump crew, announcer, and ribbons (a great job for young kids). Contact hjmanager@lakewashingtonsaddleclub.org

Dressage Jobs -Dressage schooling shows also need gatekeepers, office assistants, and ring crew (set up and tear down), and scribes. Contact dressage@lakewashingtonsaddleclub.org

Other Events - Volunteers are needed for other events, like the play days, prize rides, trail obstacle training day, etc.  Tasks would include set-up, registration, announcing, score keeping, passing out numbers, etc. Contact president@lakewashingtonsaddleclub.org

Hours put into these volunteer jobs are applied towards volunteer hours needed for year-end awards.  Only work done without pay is eligible for volunteer hours.
