Trail Riding Events

2023 - June 25 and August 12

Register for June 25 Prize Ride
Register for August 12 Prize Ride
Two prize rides will be held in 2023.   All trail riding events are held at Bridle Trails State Park.

We are erring on the side of caution and assuming that we will once again be modifying the process for the prize rides in 2023 due to the pandemic.  If we don't need to, we will update the process.  Covid friendly is as follows:
  1. Only online registration, payment and waiver signing will be possible.  Online registration will close on or before the Thursday before the event so that we can prepare for the event.
  2. Instead of staffing stations along the trail, drawing numbers at each station,  etc., riders will purchase either one raffle ticket or as many as three raffle tickets.
  3. To avoid handling of paper raffle tickets, the prize ride team will assign raffle ticket numbers to participants during online registration and the prize ride team will draw winners the night before the event.
  4. Prizes will be limited to a variety of gift cards.  During registration participants will be asked to identify the types of cards they are interested in.  The Prize ride team will package the gift cards in envelopes with winner's names and will pass out the prize as riders start out on their ride.
  5. Ride times will be scheduled in designated time periods that space people out.  Please try to not arrive more than one hour before your ride time.
  6. Riders will then have a wonderful trail ride along a marked trail with trail markers always on your right.
  7. Riders will return to the registration area to let us know you arrived back.
  8. For Equine & Vines, wine will be available for purchase after the ride and some pre-packaged snacks will be provided.  For Covid safety we will be selling small, individual bottles of wine for $5.00 a bottle.
  9. Masks may be required when not on horseback, it will depend upon the rules at the time and the risk involved for staff and attendees.
  10. No dogs, stallions, carts or ponying of rider-less horses allowed.
