Club Information

Lake Washington Saddle Club is a community of equestrians dedicated to providing educational activities that help equestrians of all ages to improve their skills and confidence.  LWSC has been dedicated to the enjoyment and preservation of Bridle Trails State Park in King County, Washington since 1945.  As advocates and stewards of the park, we helped to build the outstanding horse show facilities that the Club and many other organizations still use today. We sponsor and run schooling horse shows and events, promote equestrian education and fellowship in the region, and work in partnership with the state of Washington to coordinate and maintain the facilities and trails at the park.

Funds from Saddle Club dues and events keep Bridle Trails State Park a working equestrian resource for everyone. From arena footing to show stalls, from jumps to accessible mounting ramps, from competitive trail obstacles to trail maintenance supplies, we help to make the park a playground for horses and their humans.
Purpose and Objectives:
  • Develop and sponsor equestrian activities that improve and support horsemanship education
  • Preserve, improve and maintain Bridle Trails State Park for horse use
  • Encourage knowledge and interest in horses and good horsemanship
  • Support other equestrian, animal welfare and related community associations
  • Provide meeting place and social contact for members
