Trail Obstacle Training

2023 - June 17, August 5

Obstacle training develops calmness, balance, responsiveness to aides, and trust between horse and rider, using objects and terrain found/encountered on the trail and in the "real world". It carries over to any type of riding in all disciplines, and is beneficial for horses and riders at any age and stage of training.  We welcome riders and horses new to the trail obstacle experience.

A variety of "interesting" objects and challenges will be set up around the arena, and you will be free to experiment with and experience them at your own pace in a safe and supervised environment in-hand and under saddle.

Trail obstacle play day will be open from 9 am - 4:30 PM with a lunch break at noon.  Tickets prices will be $10.00 for LWSC members and $20 for non-members, and must be paid in advance during online registration.
