COMING UP:
TRAIL/OBSTACLE TRAINING AND GAMES PRACTICE
 July 19:   11 AM - 3 PM
No Pre-registration Required - come anytime between 11 and 3.
Free for LWSC members   Guests $10.00

A variety of "interesting" objects and challenges will be set up around the arenas, and you will be free to experiment with and experience them at your own pace in a safe and supervised environment. Barrels, poles and flags will also be set up in the big arena to practice for Playday on July 20.

Obstacle training develops trust between horse and rider, calmness, balance and responsiveness to aides using objects and terrain found/encountered on the trail and in the "real world". It carries over to any type of riding in all disciplines, and is beneficial for horses and riders at any age and stage of training.
